Landslides shut J-K highway

Srinagar: Jammu-Srinagar National Highway was closed for vehicular traffic on Friday due to landslides in Ramban district, reports said.

The landslides were triggered between Ramban and Banihal following heavy rains which lashed the region on Thursday.

“The vehicular movement was suspended on the highway in view of the landslides and the shooting stones,” official said.
