50-yr-old man injured in bear attack in Shopian
A 50-year-old man was injured after he was attacked by a bear in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Thursday morning.
An official told a local news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the man identified as Nazir Ahmad Sheikh son of Khazir Mohammad Sheikh, a resident of Chetterwach village in Imamsahib was injured when he was attacked by a bear in an orchard.
The official said that the man received injuries on his face and was rushed to district hospital Shopian for treatment.
Meanwhile, a team of wildlife department has rushed to the spot to trace the wild bear—(KNO)
