The government of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday ordered a team of officers to monitor the attendance of the employees working in various departments of the Civil Secretariat, Jammu and Srinagar.
The team has been authorised to check the punctuality and report unauthorized absence of employees to the administration.
“The team shall conduct random surprise checks of all departments and report unauthorized absence of employees to the General Administration Department for appropriate disciplinary action,” the order read.
The team members for the Civil Secretariat, Srinagar, include Deputy Secretary to the Government and Under Secretary to the Government, both from the General Administration Department.
