Srinagar:- A man from Kupwara committed suicide by jumping in canal at Gund Jahangeer Bandipora Area of North Kashmir Bandipora district on Monday.
A police officer told news agency Kashmir Scroll that a man from Kupwara jumped in Haritar Shah Gund Jahangeer following which rescue operation was started.
He said that later his body was fished out and after legal formalities, body will be handed over to legal heirs.
Further investigation in this regard has been taken up.(KS)
