Two persons, one of them an eight-month-old baby and a 90-year-old man, were killed, while eight persons were injured when sumo they were travelling in met with an accident near Jabdi area in Kupwara district of north Kashmir on Thursday.
Official sources told a local news agency, Global News Service (GNS) that a sumo vehicle (JK05B-8799) driven by Yaseen Shah met with an accident at Baghbella Jabdi, resulting in on the spot death of Sadar Ali Shah (90) son of Fazil Ali Shah of Bijaldar Jabdi and Afan (8-month- old).
Eight persons were injured in the accident and have been hospitalized, they said. (GNS)
