Shopian: Rashtriya Rifles (62 RR) interacted with a large number of senior citizens at Chowgam camp of the Shopian district to discuss the current situation and different issues of people on Sunday.
“Army enlisted some serious steps for the progress and peace of the shopian people. The senior citizens also put their suggestions and demands in front of Company commander and put forth a road map regarding the development of Shopian in front of army officers, ” Statement reads.
Officers of the Rashtriya Rifles (62 RR) assured citizens every possible help. Meanwhile, army officers aware public about the COVID-19 pandemic and advises them to follow SOP to combat the virus.
Pertinently, Company commander said that normalcy have returned and it is one of the indicators of peace.
Officers told to the senior citizens about their responsibilities to look at the activities of teenagers and to remain attentive over drug abuse menace among youth, which is the major concern uprising in the valley.
