A local army porter from Ring-Bala Machil in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district slipped to death on the intervening night of Friday-Saturday, reported a local news agency, Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
An unidentified official told the agency identified the local porter as Muhammad Rafiq Khan, son of Asadullah Shah, a resident of ring Bala Machil. The official further said that the deceased was moved to Handwara district hospital for postmortem by the concerned army unit.
