Srinagar: Kashmir witnessed its third Covid-19 death on Tuesday. A 50-year-old man from Hajin village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district died on Sunday night at SMHS hospital.
He was admitted with symptoms of pnuemonia. His samples were taken for Covid-19 testing and the result today confirmed he was positive for the virus.
His body is being sent to his home under laid down protocol of the government.
Meanwhile, five more tested positive for Covid-19 in Kashmir today. The total number of cases in J&K has gone up to 114, including today’s five.
