Handwara: A sanitation drive was started by tehsildar Langate along with the NGO ” Save Environment” in Handwara. The aim of the drive was to break the chain of pandemic covid-19.
The main focus of the drive was to clean and sanitize the public places such as ATMs, Banks , and market places so that the chance of spreading coronavirus get low.
Tehsildar Langate, Mohammad Ramzan said,”The proper handwashing and social distancing are the best ways to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus.”
Cleaning hands are a very important way to prevent infection or spread, especially with viruses like the coronaviruses, which can survive on surfaces or inanimate objects for hours to even a day or more, he added.
Meanwhile people of Qalamabad Langate appreciated Tehsildar and his team for doing such work.
