Baramulla: A gunfight broke out between militants and security forces in the Tujjar Area of sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday.

As per initial reports, a joint team of Jammu and Kashmir Police and Army launched a cordon and search operation in Tujjar Sopore of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday Evening.

As the joint team of forces approached the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.

As per sources, two to three millitants are believed to be trapped.(KNS)
