Srinagar: An encounter has started between militants and forces in Chanjmullah area of Handwara north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday
The Jammu and Kashmir police while taking to Twitter handle said that a gunfight has started and more details are awaited.
“Encounter has started at Chanjmullah area of Handwara. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow,” the tweet read.
