Meet Kashmiri teenager, Irfan Attari flag bearer of anti-drug campaign

A 19-year-old Irfan Attari Kashmiri, chairman of Kashmir youth web, an organization that emphasizes on the eradication of the social evils and addictions in the Kashmir valley. He through this organization is making humble attempts to provide benefits to the people and make the society free from numerous social evils prevailing in it.


Kashmir youth web is working tirelessly to make their society a better and peaceful place by working on social issues prevailing in the society.

“Our Main motives and Objectives is to establish rehabilitation centers for the Drug Addicts, Smokers, etc and organize workshops, seminars for preventive education on serious effects of Drug Abuse,” Irfan said. He added, “We have started an initiative for a Drug-Free Kashmir and are continuously working to eliminate this menace from our society.”


He said KYW is internationally linked with Drug-Free World and for its aims. “We have started the distribution of about 1 lakh books regarding the research of drugs (2020) out of which 10,000 books have already been distributed in the districts of Srinagar and Budgam,” He said.


“Besides drugs, our focus will get on to the unseen and unknown artists of the Valley, who’ve worked for the long in their fields. We’ll work to provide them the platforms they deserve, nationally and internationally as well,” they claimed.
