Kupwara: The members of Kupwara Cultural Academy held an election here on Thursday in which they unanimously elected Mr. Saqib Ahmad Mir as chairman of the organization.
While Aijaz Ahmad Ganie was elected secretary, Sajad Ahmad Hajam as publicity secretary, and Adil Ahmad Lone and Basheer Ahmad Dar as treasurers for the academy, the statement reads.
“The members unanimously resolved to serve the society in the field of art, culture, music, and dance with zeal and passion,’’ statement reads.
