A man was injured after he was attacked by a bear in Tral area of south Kashmir Pulwama district on Wednesday.
An official said that a man identified as Bashir Ahmad Khatana son of Ab Ganie Khatana resident of Wazulkulnad Nagapathrie Khalil (Lalpora) Tral was attacked and injured by a bear.
He was shifted to SDH Tral, where doctors referred him to SMHS Srinagar for advanced treatment, he said.
Locals have demanded immediate attention of wildlife department in this regard. (KS)
