Shopian: The Journalist Guild of Pulwama and Shopain on Tuesday condoled the death of young journalist Tanveer Ul Ahad. He passes away on Monday evening.
“Journalists from Print, Electronic and Digital Media mourns the sad demise of Tanveer,” statements reads. Tanvir was working as Editor in chief of leading news agency GNS in Kashmir.
“A condolence meeting was held at the Shopian Press office in which all the members expressed grief over his demise,” Statement said.
“The President Fayaz Wani deeply expresse shock over the death of young journalist.Wani said that the deceased was hardworking journalist and the fraternity has lost a precious gem,” Statement reads.
It adds, The Association prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and courage and strength to the bereaved family to bear the loss.
