Soldiers donates plasma to save Doctor’s life

Srinagar: Military personnel 2 RASHTRIYA RIFLES Battalion of KILO FORCE donated plasma to save the life of a Pulwama doctor, who was admitted at SKIMS.

GOC KILO FORCE took an initiative without wasting any time and facilitated two donors from 2 RR Battalion as soon as he got to know about the immediate need of plasma for a doctor through social media.

Setting an example, Karan Singh (Number 17011108W- Cfn) and Hav GK Jha(Number 15818568P) COVID-19 infected Soldiers, who were declared negative on 8 July volunteered to donate the plasma to the doctor.

Major General Harjeet Singh Sahi of GOC KILO FORCE said that these two jawans voluntarily donated plasma to save the precious life of a doctor. He added that “We will continue to provide all possible help to combat the COVID-19 infection in J&K.”
