Two Jaish-i Muhammad militants were killed in an gunfight in Mouchwa area of Budgam district.
A top police officer said that two bodies are visible, possibly there could be one more as searches are still underway.
Earlier, reports said that a joint team of Srinagar police, Budgam police and army’s 50RR launched a cordon and search operation in Mouchwa.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight. (GNS)
