A youth on Wednesday afternoon allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in Hawal area of Srinagar, officials said.
They said that a youth (name withheld) who is a resident of Hawal Srinagar allegedly hanged himself inside his home in the afternoon.
They said that his family members immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case in this regard. (KS)
