Zone Chandoosa hold enrollment drive celebration

In continuation to enrollment drive and community mobilization program, a grand celebration was held in Zone Chandoosa on Saturday.

“Mr. Gh Mohammad Lone Chief Education Officer, Mr. Balbir Singh Raina Deputy Chief Education Officer Baramulla, Mr. Nazir Ah District Cultural Coordinator, Mr. Sheikh Haroon, and Mr. Syed Ishfaq Noor DRG participated. Moreover, parents, panchayat members, VEC’s, and children also participated in the graceful event.” Statement said.

“Smt Harmeet Kour Zonal Education officer, Mr. Mohammad Ashraf Lone Zonal Education Planning Officer, and a team of Resource Persons warmly welcomed the officers and presented the overall achievement regarding the initiative of enrollment drive in the zone. Pertinently, more than 800 fresh children have been enrolled so far in the Govt Schools of said zone,” the statement reads.

While speaking on the occasion, “Chief Education officer Baramulla appreciated the zonal administration, Resource group, and teachers for taking the initiative as missionary mode.”


He expressed hope that they will continue to contribute in a better and efficient way.


He added that the performance of Government Schools is improving rapidly and the focus is being laid to provide quality education.


He emphasized that a huge investment is being released into the Education Department to cater to the deficiencies and the need is understanding its importance.

While urging parents to reimpose faith and enroll their wards in Govt Schools he said, “We have highly qualified, efficient and skilled teachers who are ready to deliver and focus is being laid to provide quality education and learning outcomes besides all other initiatives including free education, textbooks, meals, uniforms, provision of scholarship,s, etc.”


It is pertinent to mention that the team visited various villages of the zone including Faqirbagh, Sultanpora, Dudbug, and Bandipayeen.
