Shopian: Two militants have been killed in an ongoing encounter that broke out between government forces and militants in Killora area of Shopian in South Kashmir on Friday.
An official told that in the initial stage of gunfight two militants were killed while operating in the area is in process.
A police officer also confirmed the killing of two militants in an ongoing gunfight, he ho,wever, said the identification of both slain militants is yet to be ascertained.
Earlier in the day, a joint team of Army, SOG and CRPF sealed Kiloora Shopian following inputs about the presence of militants.(Agencies)
