Over 36 lakh people across the globe have been infected with the coronavirus while 2.57 lakh people have died already.
Coronavirus has claimed over 71,000 lives in the US while the total number of cases have crossed 12 lakh.
In India, the total number of coronavirus cases have crossed 49,000 while over 1,600 people have died across the country.
The nationwide lockdown has been extended till May 17 while Telangana has extended the lockdown in the state till May 29.
