Says party will touch new heights under Gupta’s guidance
Srinagar.: Bhartiya Janata Party’s JK spokesman Altaf Thakur welcomed the appointment of BJP J&K General Secretary Vibodh Gupta as the Kashmir affairs incharge.
In a brief statement, Thakur said that under the dynamic leadership of Vibodh Gupta, the party will further strengthen its base in Kashmir, especially Srinagar and will take the BJP’s agenda to the people of Kashmir.
“Vibodh ji is a seasoned politician and full of experience and under his guidance, party’s Kashmir chapter will gain a lot of experience and ensure BJP is strengthened on all fronts. The decision of party high command to appoint Vibodhji as Kashmir affairs in-charge is a right decision taken at the right time which needs to be welcomed by all means,” he said.
